Kuso的我

Yeah~这个学期的第一轮考试算是告一段落啦~
现在心情蛮轻松的
我要出去玩~
去OUG的Pasar Malam..YaHOOz~

FOOD-FOOD-FOOD

coz many readers love to c food recommendation ,include myself,so...

Watami Malaysia: Japanese Casual Restaurant @ Pavilion, KL

Kari-Kari Pasta – RM5.90
A light appetizing crispy bite with hints of saltiness; infusion of umami. Great snacks to share with friends over chit-chats.

Hiroshima Okonomiyaki – RM16.90
お好み焼き Okonomiyaki; the Japanese Pancake was one of our favourite. Great batter with toppings like shrimps, meat, vege and noodles, the cooked cooked okonomiyaki is drizzled with flavoursome okonomiyaki sauce which is similar to Worcestershire sauce but slightly thicker and sweeter & katsuobushi (bonito flakes) & Japanese mayonnaise.

Unagi Kamameshi – RM19.90
We all agreed that this Eel Pot Rice is no ordinary unagi rice. Other than the kicking tangy flavours of Unagi, the rice is slowly cooked in a pot before us. Infused with flavours from the mushrooms and other ingredients, the rice somehow tasted sweeter :)

Gyuniku Sukiyaki Nabe – RM24.90
One of the must-try Japanese hot pot, it’s slowly simmered with shiitake and enokitake, beef, tofu, chinese cabbage, leek. Once the soup base started to boil, break in the egg and mix ‘em for smoother texture and better flavour.

A great place to hangout when you’re looking for a comfortable spot for casual Japanese dining.

Auntie Lora Prawn Mee @ Jalan Pudu

A small stall tucked in Jalan Pudu behind the Pudu wet market, towards Jalan Cheras, in between Win Son Coffee Shop & next to Thean Fah hardware shop; known as Auntie Lora.

They also serve Assam Laksa that has distinctive flavourof lemongrass, galangal and chili. Love it sourish. A dash of thick shrimp paste “petis udang” gave it a hint of sweetness. However, we still prefer their prawn noodle :)

Prawn Mee

the chef behind Auntie Lora. Hmm.. wonder if he’s Uncle Lora. haha.

锦选 Hong Kong Dim Sum @ Puchong Jaya

What would we describe about Jin Xuan?
Variety. You would definitely say the same too if you’ve visited this place. Lots to choose from; from usualhar gau, siew mai, char siew pao, loh mai kai to Wanton noodles with juicy char siew and siew yoke. A Hong Kong approach :)

Lastly

Nabe Bakery Cafe @ Ampang

Iced Mocha – RM 9.50
Loaded with strong aroma of coffee and cocoa, we boasted that this was better than Starbuck’s *wink*
Fresh Fruit Juice – RM 8.00
Chris and I decided to go for Tomato & Orange, our favourite blend. No water added, we love this concentration.

Red Bean Icewater – RM9.50

Sounded pretty simple?
Well, it’s not. A huge bowl of sweetness brimmed to the top overflowing with mangoes, watermelons, honeydews chunks, red bean & another very special ingredient: Korean rice cake which lend a chewy texture! I sure prefer this version to Snowflake’s bestseller ;P

Cheesecake – RM 6.90

A darling that we must all savour.
Bet you can already tell from its smooth outer layer. Grab a bite and you could feel the soft spongy texture by the side and bottom, coating the soft, chilled cheese inside. Very light, not satiating & guilt-free!

Check this Korean Bakery for a change & get more cute surprises!
